A: Performance year from 1st January to 31st December
B: Entry is free.
C: Results must be recorded in an AHHA performance entry form. Request a form via our contact us form here, or you can download the form at the end of this page.
D: Performance sheets may be forwarded to the secretary at any time during the competition year. Performance sheets will not be accepted after the 15th of January 2025.
E: Performances can be gained at any agriculture show that runs hunter horse classes. Points will be awarded for member classes, child’s ridden, pony, Galloway and hack and open classes for pony, Galloway and hack.
F: When shows host the AHHA members classes, any points received in these classes will take priority over any open win points.
G: Childs and open classes will receive 1 point for a win. Members classes will be awarded.
1st place: 3 points, 2nd place: 2 points and 3rd place: 1 point.
H: Only one performance per show.
I: For points to be eligible both horse and rider needs to be registered/member with AHHA.
J: Categories that will be awarded highest point score include:
K: The child’s category will be judged on the child not on the horse. But both horse and rider must be registered for the points to be awarded.
L: The Pony, Galloway and Hack are to be judged on the horse only. The rider can be different at each event. As long as both horse and rider are financial members of the AHHA society points will be awarded.
M: AHHA classes where you have placed will take precedence over any open class win.
N: The official recorders decision is final.
